Message from the Artistic Director
You are invited to join the Alberta Baroque Ensemble for our 43rd concert season and experience why the Alberta Baroque Ensemble is a premier chamber orchestra that specializes in music composed in the 17th and 18th centuries.
You will hear performances by some of the finest musicians in Edmonton and featuring distinguished guest soloists, Bianca Chambul (bassoon), Dawn Bailey (soprano), Celia Lee (mezzo-soprano), Julianne Scott (clarinet), Allene Hackleman (horn) and Eric Buchmann (violin).
Works featured this season include the better-known composers of the era J.S. Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel, and rarer recognized greats Pergolesi, Benda, Holzbauer, Forster and Stamitz.
