CELIA RAVEN LEE Mezzo-Soprano
Mezzo-soprano Celia Raven Lee is a regular collaborator with VoiceScapes and Rosa Barocca, a founding member of LaVIe, and has performed with the Festival Chorus and Calgary Pro Musica Society.
She has been a soloist in productions of Handel’s Messiah and Dixit Dominus, the Vivaldi Gloria, the St. Saëns Christmas Oratorio, and Bach’s Mass in B Minor. Operatic and musical theatre roles include Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Annio in La Clemenza di Tito and the Queen in The Queen, the Bear and the Bumblebee.
Celia has a background in Environmental Biology and Environmental Design, and currently consults on social policy. She attended York University for a senior year in Voice, and participated in young artist programs with Tafelmusik, the Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, and the Conservatory of Victoria.
