Dan Waldron

Daniel Waldron graduated from the Artist Diploma program of the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. His oboe teachers were James Mason and Richard Dorsey. In 2010 he attended the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute.

Daniel is an alumnus of the National Academy Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada.

A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Daniel spent his childhood and teenage years in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He lives in Edmonton with his wife Chelsea, and performs with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra as a casual musician.
